We(F23/M28) are having a child and she really wants to get married, I don’t. Sweetheart doesn’t understand my consider.

My girlfriend and I have been on and off for a few years plus she’s 26 weeks pregnant. This wasn’t a planned baby but we are each still very happy about the baby. My girlfriend really wants to get married, courthouse style and then a huge wedding after the baby. I would really like to get married someday, yet I don’t think we should get married right now. I mentioned that individuals were an on-and-off couple. We' re still working through things that affected all of us in the past and I don' t think we' re ready to get married until that' s fixed. My girlfriend will not feel the same way. She wants us to be a secure family and says the only way she' lmost all feel secure is if we get married, but this isn' t an option right now. Any kind of suggestions?

Edit: A lot of you aren' t really geting the point that we still have troubles to work through. There was a situation with her friend a year ago that caused us in order to up and give me believe in issues. If we can work via these trust issues, after that marriage can be in the functions. If not, then we' ll be dedicated to being fantastic copparents who would want the very best for our child. Either way, I' m not getting married if our difficulties are not solved. Just because all of us get married DOES NOT mean our difficulties disappear.
