Peole generally only get more set in there ways. You are in your early 20s, If he isn't willing to try and change now to help the relationship and himself i struggle to see him doing it in the future.
There’s always a “chance” when you’re dealing with people (and this unfortunately includes a pretty high percentage of people) who don’t really know who they are and haven’t settled for themselves what they want.
There’s an equally good chance he won’t.
Either way, move forward knowing and caring for yourself as though people never returned.
