I would agree with you and some of those points but I feel like that's more of a church standing rather than the real belief of Christianity. The problem is people confuse church with their beliefs. he should be respectful towards the parents for helping them out, but dont act like people should be happy to sit in a house breathing in second hand smoke constantly, which makes it very hot to breath, or unable to sleep or relax because of the loud talking or loud tv. Its not unrealistic to want clean air to breath or quiet to sleep, now i think OPs bf should move with his parents, but that will probably cost the relationship as it would probably cause them to fight more.
