As someone who has been through a visa process with my spouse, do NOT move forward with the application unless you fit the requirements. For most of these types of processes, it is a requirement that the relationship is a legit marriage relationship. If it is found out to be a ‘false’ marriage / marriage for the purpose of the visa you can get into HIGE legal trouble.
