How can i convince my girlfriend not to buy a specific makeup pallet

So a while ago all of us went to TJ maxx and she saw this makeup pallet she really liked but decided not to buy cause she didn’t get paid yet and didn’t have the money for it, therefore i went back the next day and bought it for her for Christmas

Were gonna be going back soon for more Christmas shopping and I’m worried she’ll buy it this time how can i try and hint to her that will she shouldn’t get it without giving away the surprise?
