I mean technology is there so a daily video chat should be fine until the baby gets bigger. He can also take pics to send her.
To travel a hour or so to watch a baby sleep and poop while you're still healing is not reasonable.

Going against the grain here and gonna say that I don't see anything wrong with this age gap. When I was 25-26 I was casually seeing a 34-year old and I didn't think there was anything wrong with it, in actual fact she was very open about what she wanted from us and handled things much more maturely than the girls my age might've handled those same situations. That was two years ago and if I could go back I would do it again.
I think people on reddit really like infantilizing people in their early-to-mid 20s when they're perfectly capable adults who can make their own decisions.

You mention in your comments that you believe she might be depressed, so maybe she is rather fighting a general feeling of unhappiness than an unhappiness directly related to your relationship. That's something else a counsellor would be able to help pinpoint and help you address with each other.
