Tell him this that you would be more than happy to get a paternity test, but if it comes out positively his child, you will never speak or see him again
As I said… what are you looking for here besides affirmation of a choice you have made. You want 100% agreement, get a puppy. YOu want a little bit of objective opinion, ask a human. You have made up your mind and that is fine. I don't envy you. All I'm saying is life is long and relationships evolve. It is easy to step away and just no deal with one another. Gives you options. But anyway. You know what to do. Have a nice day.
It's entirely possible to have close relationships with people you work with for years, and it's just that. You get to know each other well, bail out mistakes, cover for absences, and know a fair amount about each other by default.
It is also entirely possible for people to start spending their emotional investments on their coworkers to the point that they damage their personal relationships.
Are you having issues within your marriage? If she's more distant with you whole adding terms of endearment to work conversations, it may be something you need to discuss. If things are normal and fine between you and it only strikes you as odd because you would never tell a coworker you love them, you can talk to her about it casually. I wouldn't assume it's problematic, though. Some people are boisterous, and bring that out in others.

Find a new boyfriend and drop his ass.
Your boyfriend sounds insufferable. If he was so concerned about it he should have asked what you were reading.
when we have ever spoken about proposal hes been very clear that he would want to be the one to do it.
That might be his legit preference. But, there's also a possibility that he's afraid you'll see him as “less of a man” if he admits to wanting that.
If he's said no though, you should respect that.
