When I say I'm the problem I'm just referring to me enabling her. If I'm not doing that, then the ball is in her court. Outside of that I do feel like it's entirely her taking advantage of me.

But take into consideration… You two are not from the same city. Meaning, quality texters can a bit more important to have a functioning LDR.
If you two lived in the same city, texting would be less noticeable because you're accessible see each-other frequently.
I personally dislike texting. I find it exhausting to maintain a conversation throughout the day, responding on the hour, etc. And for that, I wouldn't be the heathiest LDR partner.
But when it comes to plan making, I feel that should be treated as a priority.
No one wants to spend 3 days texting to confirm a date. They want the conversation to feel important and executed in a timely manner.
