Todays the second official day of our break. We decided to take a week break because of too much fighting and lack of trust on both ends. Just to gain clarity on the relationship.
I get this text notification at 2:43am that he ordered Doordash to his house. But the thing is he ordered 2 milkshakes and a bag of food. I’m wondering who this was for, especially at this time, as he’s not allowed to have company over. He can’t possibly buy milkshakes for a guy friend..? Something’s telling me it’s for a girl but no idea who.
I drove past his house and he’s not home. It’s 4:50am. His door was left open and he took the food. Im sitting in his room right now and he’s not here. I lived on my own from 18 onward. I learned how to run a household, file my own taxes, balance a budget. All by your GFs age. I didn’t get it right at first but stubbornness helped because eventually I figured it all out. My ex-partner moved in with me straight from home and didn’t know how to cook, how to properly sweep a floor, how to wash dishes, how to do laundry… but the worst was them having no concept of bills, especially credit card bills. After our phones got shut off for the third time for non-payment, I told them that if they refused to be an adult then I couldn’t be with them. Everything else they would try once and struggle then throw in the towel refusing to ever do it again because they felt they were a failure.
To save our relationship, I suggested I cut back on work hours so I can take over care of our house and all the chores. They were more than happy for me to earn my keep taking care of them. Their laziness was a toxicity and in the long run it crushed the relationship.

Came in assuming this was another run of the mill affair only to find out your husband has crossed into complete stalker territory.
