I would not say playing video games a lot is equivalent to cheating or worse, and quite frankly, if she thinks it is, then she has no clue as to what cheating is, or how badly and devastating it is for the one being cheated on. I would expect a 15 year to make that comparison admits a fit, but not a 24 year old woman.
With that said, I am not saying ignoring a gf to be on video games is right. I can see how that would make her feel neglected. But comparing being angry about being ignore to another suffering the thoughts that their man was passionately all over and inside another woman? Nope!

My Mom also abdicated adulting after my dad died. I love my mom, but much of my care for her is out of obligation and because my sibling doesn't help.
Obligation breeds resentment which breeds guilt. My mom is older than your fiance's mom and her health has always been questionable, which adds spice to our situation.
I was very gentle with Mama, because she was grieving. But dealing with her finances (but not having power over them), and her health, and her services, has caused me emotional, financial, and career distress. It left me unable to experience and deal with my own grief. I don't feel like I can have emergencies and anything going on leaves me dealing with her shit instead of my own.
It's expensive. She doesn't live! with me, but has come to stay over extended periods of time. I feel obligated to cover expenses she can't, which has affected my ability to save to buy a house and pay down my debt.
I know that your future MIL is a different person than my mom, but I think what she needs is therapy rather than enabling. And allowing her to move in is enabling her, rather than supporting her. It's not good for MIL either.
